Sol Food High Potency | Vitamin D3 + K2 Chewables

  • When should I take my Vitamin D3?
We recommend taking your Vitamin D3 in the morning with breakfast or early afternoon with lunch. Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin, meaning it’s best absorbed with food.
Some scientists believe supplementing with Vitamin D in the evening can make it difficult to sleep. While there hasn’t been a definitive study to prove this - we recommend avoiding taking your Vitamin D at night to stay on the safe side!
  • Do I need to take D3 with food?
You don’t have to - but it could help with absorption! This is because Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin, meaning the body requires fat to properly absorb them.
  • Can I take this D3 if Im pregnant or breastfeeding?
Many folks choose to supplement with D3 during pregnancy or breastfeeding, but because everyone is different we recommend you consult your doctor first.
  • How is this different from your other Vitamin D3 product?
This version of Sol Food contains more Vitamin D3 (5,000 IU) along with Vitamin K2 and is chewable, while our other formulation is a tablet. These features make it more expensive, but a better fit for folks who need a higher dose of Vitamin D3 and don’t get enough Vitamin K in their diet.
If you're looking for our other Vitamin D3 product you can find it here.
